Project description
Within the CONNECT project, CoolSem is advancing its WaLTIS technology from TRL 3 to TRL 5/6. WaLTIS is a wafer-level thermal interface stack designed to dissipate heat closer to the active layer of semiconductor and photonic devices. As part of the project, materials and manufacturing processes are optimized on a 200 mm wafer platform, test vehicles are developed, and the thermal, electrical, and RF performance is characterized.
